Like most people, we both grew up and did what we were taught to do. We went to school, got a good education, in order to get a good job so we could have a good life. Instead we realized shortly after getting those good jobs that the good life we were told we would have was still out of reach.

We did everything we were taught but owning our own home, having a bit extra to do fun activities with our kids, and being able to save for retirement felt impossible. We started looking for ways to make money in other ways to reach our dreams but they all required more time, leaving less time to spend with family and doing the things we love. We were in a losing cycle of either having less time to spend with our family or having less money to achieve our dreams.

We started looking into ways we could create a flexible income where we would have control over our time and resources.
